The Farther Up the Mountain You Climb, the Farther Up You Can Take People With You
The Farther Up the Mountain You Climb, the Farther Up You Can Take People With You
Fortunately, I started at the very bottom of the mountain with a victim mentality, and I ascended, rung by rung, transforming into a higher, more elevated version of myself. I said fortunately because only someone who has been there and done the work of breaking through the walls of fear, guilt, and shame, can truly understand and show authentic compassion for someone who is currently doing the work. I understand what you are going through. I have tremendous respect for you. I am here to help you.
There was a time in my life where I felt like a wet shmata (rag) on the floor. I was anxious, depressed, had low self-esteem, and felt unloved, unseen, and uncared for by anyone. My relationships were in shambles, I wasn’t taking care of myself, and I was allowing myself to be berated and taken advantage of by others. I could barely get through the day. I would drag myself out of bed every morning, somehow manage to make breakfast, pack lunches, and take the kids to school before I ran errands, took care of the house, and ran to meet the needs of everyone else, except for myself. Sound familiar?
I hit rock bottom in my life. I began to get physically ill from all the stress. Yes, constant emotional pressure can take a toll on your body and make you sick. After having thyroid cancer, a partial hysterectomy, and struggling with adrenal fatigue that made me too tired to function, I knew that I HAD TO DO SOMETHING!
It was then that I realized that I had a choice: I could either continue to live a life of illness, anxiety, depression, and defeat, OR I could CHOOSE to take control over my life.
I decided to make a personal commitment to my own healing. I worked with many wonderful people who introduced me to a wide variety of healing modalities. The one that made the most difference was transformational coaching. This was the first time in my life when I felt seen, heard and understood on the deepest level. I received validation and compassion that I never even knew existed. For me, this was lifesaving!
As I progressed on my healing journey and worked through some REALLY difficult challenges in my life, I began to evolve. I elevated myself from that wet shmata (rag) on the floor to a confident, strong, spiritual woman who is unafraid to stand in her truth and shine her bright light into the world proudly, without apologies. And I can help you do the same!
Give yourself permission to shine your light into the world. The world needs you. Don’t hold back!
